Say a set. See what Stratum logs.

This is Stratum’s real parser, running in your browser. Type the way you’d talk, tap a sample, or use the mic.

Nothing you type leaves this page. The mic uses your browser’s own speech service.

How it works

Built for the gym floor, not the desk.

Most logs fail between sets: chalky hands, a timer running, plans buried in texts and printouts. Stratum takes your training the way it actually happens.

Stratum voice screen listening: Bench press, 225 for 8
01 · Voice

Talk between sets. Don’t type.

Tap the gold mic and say it the way you’d tell a training partner. Stratum turns it into the right exercise, weight and reps, set by set.

  • Gym talk works: “two twenty-five for five”, “thirties for twelve”, “same weight, got seven”.
  • Strength, rehab and cardio land in the right place, in the order you said them.
  • Your music keeps playing. It only pauses while the mic is listening.
Try it yourself with your own sets.
Stratum asks which squat and how many reps instead of guessing
02 · Trust

It asks. It never guesses.

Missed a number or said something it can’t be sure of? The card shows a question instead of inventing an answer. Nothing saves until you tap Save.

  • Missing reps show as “?”, never a made-up number.
  • Unclear names become choices: “Squats” could be back, front or hack.
  • A new variant like “deadlift with chains” asks first; it never logs as the plain lift.
Stratum Session in Progress with last time’s sets ready to log
03 · Session

Last time is already there.

Today’s plan and your last numbers wait in Session in Progress. Tap a set to log it as is, or say what changed.

  • Sets are numbered across the whole workout, newest card on top.
  • Each gym keeps its own machines and cables.
  • Warm-ups stay out of your working sets.
Stratum sorting a pasted workout into exercises, with one question about which squat
04 · Import

Coach texted the plan? Paste it. On paper? Scan it.

Paste a workout from a message, an email or a note, or scan a printed page. Stratum sorts it into exercises, sets, reps and weights, and keeps supersets together.

  • Shorthand like RDL, DB and “3x8-10” just works.
  • Anything it isn’t sure of asks, like the voice card.
  • The scan is read on your phone and never leaves it.

05 · Your Director

Your coach plans it. You show what you really did.

A trainer, coach or Directing Team assigns the plan in Stratum, and it appears as Today’s Plan. Log as you go, or tap “Completed as planned” when you did it exactly.

  • Reports show planned against done, set by set.
  • Director-assigned rehab counts toward your rehab plan.
  • Sharing starts off. You choose what your Director can see.
Stratum Trends: estimated one-rep max for Barbell Bench Press over twelve weeks
06 · Progress

Numbers you can trust.

Every exercise keeps its own record, so a PR on incline dumbbell press never pads your flat bench. Weekly volume rolls up by movement.

  • Numbers that look off for you are flagged before they count.
  • Warm-ups and rehab stay out of PRs and training volume.
  • Your PR history is kept, even when you fix a set later.
Two sides, one log

For athletes. For the people who coach them.

Use Stratum on your own, or connect with a trainer, coach or Directing Team. The athlete always decides what gets shared.

For athletes

Your training, finally in one log.

Lifting, rehab and cardio, logged by voice or one tap, with progress you can believe.

  • Log by voice or tapHands-free between sets, or tap when it’s quiet.
  • A real rehab trackHolds, reps per side and pain checks, kept apart from training numbers.
  • Trends that mean somethingEstimated one-rep max, PRs and volume by movement.
  • Reports you controlShare a clean PDF or spreadsheet with anyone you choose.
For Directors

See what was really done, not what was planned.

Assign plans and movement boundaries. Your athletes log against them, and you see planned against done.

  • Assign plansThey show up as Today’s Plan, ready to follow set by set.
  • Planned against doneEvery set, every swap, every skipped exercise, in one report.
  • Movement boundariesSet limits on what an athlete should load, and see when they log past one.
  • The athlete holds the keysSharing starts off. Pain checks, notes and readings are shared only if the athlete turns them on.
Better with Directive

Your training and your fuel, finally on the same page.

Stratum records what you actually lifted, ran and rehabbed. Directive turns it into your burn, your fuel timing and your weekly plan.

How the loop works

  1. Train and log in Stratum, by voice or by tap.
  2. Send it. One tap in Stratum, and Directive asks before adding anything.
  3. Directive counts it. The workout lands on your Burn tab and in your Net Active Burn, never counted twice.
  4. Your fuel follows. Carbs and protein are timed around your session. Train above your usual week and Directive adds a training credit, shown as base + credit.
  5. Your calendar stays current. Directive plans your sessions, Stratum shows them as Today’s Plan, and Directive adds your results afterward.

A watch sees your heart rate. Stratum knows you squatted.

Directive uses what you actually logged, counts only the burn above what you’d burn at rest, and doesn’t pay you twice for training it already knows about.

Example · 75-minute heavy lower session, 180 lb
Watch estimate (illustrative)520 kcal
Directive Net Active Burn, above resting255 kcal
Part of your usual week, already in your daily burn+0
An extra session that week, moderate cut+104 next day

A watch can overestimate your burn. A hard day doesn’t automatically mean more calories, and every credit is itemized, never silent.

The training that matters

Stratum sends your session length, effort, hard sets and cardio zones. Directive uses them to read your day.

Rehab isn’t training load

Your Spanish squat holds shouldn’t inflate your tonnage, earn PRs or add calories. Rehab never counts toward training numbers in either app.

Stratum stands on its own

No Directive or account needed. Stratum computes no nutrition; Directive is the only calorie calculator.

One sign-in for both

One Directive LLC sign-in works in both apps. Your workouts still move only when you send them.

Lifting while cutting

Keep your training fueled without giving up your deficit.

Back from a setback, managing weight

Keep rehab on its own track while training and fuel stay honest.

Training long or mixed

Cycling, running, Hyrox-style: fuel the long sessions and the harder-than-usual weeks.

Explore Directive

Nothing moves between the apps unless you send it or turn the connection on, and we never sell your data.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

When can I get Stratum?

Stratum is coming to iPhone and Android. Leave your email below and we’ll tell you once, the day it’s in the App Store and Google Play.

What does it cost?

Stratum is free at launch.

Do I need an account, or Directive?

No. Stratum works on its own with no account. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional, and connecting Directive is optional too.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone. Your workouts, rehab and pain checks aren’t uploaded to our servers, we don’t run ads, and we never sell your data. Data leaves your phone only when you send a report, a backup or a workout yourself, or turn on a connection.

What if it mishears me?

You see a card with everything it heard before anything is saved. Anything it isn’t sure of is a question or a choice, never a guess, and you can fix any set with a tap.

Can my trainer or coach use it with me?

Yes. A Director (a trainer, coach or Directing Team) can assign plans and movement boundaries, and you log against them. You choose what they can see; every kind of sharing starts off.

Does rehab count toward my PRs?

No. Rehab stays on its own track, out of PRs, tonnage and training volume. You can move an exercise between training and rehab later if you logged it on the wrong one.

Stratum. Layered insights. Real progress.
